Editorial Policy & Methodology

Transparency is our core value. Here's how we build tools you can trust.

Our Commitment to Accuracy

Calculators.Games is dedicated to providing the most accurate gaming analytics on the web. We understand that in competitive gaming, a 1% difference in stats can determine the outcome of a match. That's why we employ a rigorous Triple-Check Verification Process for all data.

๐Ÿ”

1. Data Mining & Source Analysis

We analyze official patch notes and cross-reference them with datamined game files to identify hidden stat changes that devs might miss.

๐Ÿงช

2. In-Game Testing

We verify theoretical numbers with actual in-game testing. We measure damage falloff, recoil patterns, and fire rates in controlled environments.

Calculator Methodology

Our calculators are built on verified formulas, not guesswork. When we calculate Time-To-Kill (TTK) or Damage-Per-Second (DPS), we account for variables that others ignore, such as:

  • Bullet velocity and travel time (where applicable).
  • Damage drop-off ranges.
  • Armor mitigation formulas specific to each game version.
  • Hitbox multipliers (Head, Chest, Limbs).

Update Frequency & Review Policy

Major patches are reviewed as verified data becomes available; update status is displayed per calculator. For active live-service titles, our verification pipeline operates as follows:

  1. Extract and verify raw values against official developer patch logs and game telemetry.
  2. Validate real-world recoil, damage falloff, and mechanic thresholds in controlled tests.
  3. Synchronize tool database models and update the visible patch badge on each tool page.

You will always see the currently supported Patch Version displayed prominently on our tool pages and hub headers.

Corrections Policy

Despite our best efforts, errors can happen. If you spot a discrepancy, we want to know. Use our Contact form to report data errors. validated corrections are prioritized and pushed immediately.
