How GTA 6 Weapon Comparisons Work
Unlike GTA Online comparisons which focus purely on DPS and TTK, GTA 6 comparisons add a new dimension: the on-person carry limit and trunk weight system. A high-powered sniper rifle might win every damage-per-shot contest, but if it forces your car into a heavier trunk load class, it could cost you the getaway.
TTK vs Trunk Weight Trade-off
Our comparison engine factors in both combat TTK (using RPM and base damage against a 200 HP target) and the trunk weight penalty. A weapon that kills 0.1 seconds faster but adds 5 kg to your trunk may not be worth it if it pushes your brake distances over the safe threshold.
On-Person vs Trunk Classification
Pistols and SMGs can be carried on-person (instant access). Rifles, shotguns, and heavy weapons must be stored in your trunk (requires returning to your vehicle). Our comparison labels each weapon's carry class to help you plan compliant loadouts.
